Maggie was so great to have at our daughter's birth. Not only did she have a toolbox full of suggestions to help ease the labor pains, but she knew what to say or when to say nothing; when to offer a hand or when to give us our space. She was completely there for us physically and mentally, and encouraged us to trust ourselves and go with our instincts and our hearts. She brought extra joy to an already joyful
occasion!

We are so happy and thankful to have had Maggie as our doula! She provided us with a wealth of information to help us prepare for our birth both physically and mentally. Maggie is warm, and caring and was a constant cheerleader throughout our birthing experience. She was open and supportive of what we wanted for our birth. She is a fantastic combination of a coach and a friend. We feel so blessed to have Maggie at the birth of our son.

I want to say thank you for all your help. Regina and I are very glad that you were there for us, especially since this was our first experience. You were a fantastic advocate, provided wise advice and incredible encouragement. You were just very wonderful all around.

My husband and I both agree that having Maggie as our doula was a wonderful decision. I had planned and prepared for a natural childbirth and was very happy that Maggie would be supporting us throughout that exciting event. However, we all know what can happen to the best laid plans. When I was at 41 weeks and 2 days and labor still had not begun, I had to be induced. I went into the induction with a lot of fear and apprehension. This was not the birth that I had envisioned for so many months! Maggie helped me through the fear and was a tremendous support throughout the labor. I would not have wanted to do it without her! She also very skillfully made sure the only other support person in the room with me besides her was my husband (which is what I communicated to her that I wanted). This took the pressure off me to please other family members. She even talked to my father-in-law over the phone to give him an update and explain what was going on at the moment. Our family thought she was fantastic and still asks about her. Maggie was also an invaluable solace during the pregnancy when we had several scares. Now we have a vibrant and healthy baby girl and Maggie still continues to be a huge help. The other day she dropped off several books about breastfeeding for me to borrow after I shared with her a nursing issue that I was having. I would highly recommend having Maggie as a doula!!!!

Having Maggie present at the birth of our son Cameron was wonderful. Maggie's experience and quality of loving attention gave my wife an extra shoulder to lean on (literally), enabling me to be more fully available to her and experience the birth process in all of its messy wonder, mystery, joy, tears and catharsis. Indeed, birthing is women's work and no new daddy should be expected to know how to do this stuff!

Being a first time mother, there were a lot of unanswered questions I had about giving birth and even more so about giving birth naturally. After meeting Maggie for the first time, I was sure that she was the right doula for my husband and me. Maggie's love, intuition and excitement for bringing babies into this world helped give me confidence and focus through one of the most physically challenging experiences of my life. I look back on my birth experience often and am still amazed at how comfortable I felt bearing my body and soul to someone I hardly knew. As an added bonus, having Maggie as my doula took the extra pressure off of my husband which allowed him to fully focus on the birth of our beautiful baby boy. I'm truly grateful to have shared the birth of Cameron with such a beautiful, supportive, knowledgeable and caring spirit. Thank you Maggie!

Having Maggie as a doula during my labor was
wonderful. I simply could not have had natural
childbirth without the gentle, nurturing guidance
Maggie provided us. She helped steer my husband and
me through the twists and turns of labor, giving us
support and reassuring us about what was normal. Her
experience and passion about caring for laboring
mothers was invaluable.

It was such a comfort having Maggie with me while I
was waiting for my baby to be born. I read the books,
took the classes, talked to people, but when the time
came, I had no clue. Maggie was a wonderful, calm,
supporting help and helped make the birth of my baby
the most wonderful experience!!

We were having our first and only baby and neither of
us knew what to expect or do. Maggie made all the
difference. As the Dad, I got to feel relaxed and she
was an awesome support to both of us. What a great
experience!

My husband and I do not know what we would have done
without Maggie at our birth. The minute she walked
into the room, I felt better. My labor was long but
she never stopped encouraging us. It was so great to
have her quiet strength. She always knew just what to
do. Maggie was the best doula I could have asked for.

it without you!
