The natural births of my two sons were the most transformational and empowering events of my life. My first son was born in a hospital (1973) in Massachusetts. My
second son was born at home (1980) in San Diego, California. Both births taught me what I already knew; our bodies know how to give birth and we do it very well! We also remember every detail forever.
Giving birth is a woman's gift to the world. Giving natural birth is a gift to the woman herself. Her experience impacts the rest of her life. It is an honor and a privilege to support birthing mothers and their partners during this amazing and miraculous event.
